Three Months

So Jonah turned three months yesterday. I can't believe how fast the time is going. He is getting so big, I have had to buy him 6 month clothes already. Anyways here are some pictures of him from the past three months.

The day he was born. This picture makes me kinda sad with the tube in the mouth and the oxygen but I should be happy that that was all he needed when there are some many other baby's out there that are worse off when they are born.

Here he is at one month. He looks kinda funky in this picture but it is the closest one I could find of him at one month.

Here he is at two months. I have used this picture before but it is so cute. He just loves his daddy and its good that they get to spend so much time together everyday. At least once I am able to stay home with him Joe will know how hard of work it is and that I am not just sitting on my butt all day watching tv.

Here he is last week with my brother Jake. He looks very afraid, which with Jake he probably should be.

Right know he has started sleeping through the night, he doesn't do it every night but he is getting there. At least when he is up he isn't crying and stuff. He is usually in a good mood but watch out, if he is hungry and you don't have his bottle ready to go he will let you know how he feels about that. He is never inconsolable, if he is crying it usually just takes picking him up to get him to stop. He has also started to push himself up when he laying on his tummy like he is going to crawl but he can only hold himself up for a few seconds. He is starting to "talk" a lot and he looks like he wants to say more when he is talking he is not sure how to get the sounds to come out. It is pretty cute. We love him so much and now I can't imagine life without him.

Jinx

I knew it. I totally jinxed myself. Last night he woke up at 2:00 and stayed up for two hours and the woke back up at 6:00.
I got him some cute Christmas pj's. Doesn't he look so happy. I swear he is all smiles until I pull the camera out.

Yea!!!

Well I don't want to jinx it but for the past three nights Jonah has slept through the night. Well at least until 5:30am (that counts right). And he just eats and goes back to sleep for another two hours at least. Hopefully this is becoming a habit. I am definitely feeling more rested.

Happy Birthday Andrea and Jenn

Today was my sister Andrea and my friend Jenn's birthdays so Happy Bday guys. Love ya! And Jenn you need to move back here New York SUCKS and we miss you!!!! :) (Sorry I don't have and pictures of Jenn, they were all on my old computer and I don't know what Joe did with them when we got our new one). Hope you both had a good day.

Jonah wanted to try out his highchair that his grandma and grandpa got him. He loves it and says thank you even if he doesn't sit up in it very well yet. He kept slumping over and slidding down in it but he didn't cry which is a change from his car seat and swing.

And finally, here is my next car. I love it and I want one. I am pretty sure that you could fit a car seat in the backseat and a stroller in the trunk. Old cars have lots of room in them. Do you guys like it? :)

Perfect Pies

So in our family it is tradition (and not one my mom likes) that some one puts there finger in the pumpkin pie. No matter where my mom hides the pies some how one of the kids finds them and puts their finger in it. I can't remember the last time that we have had a pie without it. Until this year. My mom got all the pies to my grandmas house without any fingerprints in them.

So some one felt that he had to fix that:

EEEW!!!!!!

Poor Jonah, tonight after I feed him I went to burp him and I think he puked up the entire bottle I had just given him. It was all over him, me and the couch. It was disgusting and I am suprised that I didn't throw up myself. I don't think his tummy hurt him because when I layed him on the floor afterwards to get cleaned up he was laughing. I think the little piggy just ate to much. I had to give him a bath by myself since Joe is out of town and that was not fun at all. But he was so cute afterwards in his little bathrobe. I was supposed to get my carpets and couches cleaned today but I rescheduled it for Wednesday which was lucky for me. That would have sucked to have him puke all over a clean couch.

My Monkey Baby

I just saw this picture on my computer and I had to post it because it is so funny. He looks like a monkey baby and this is the picture that we really noticed that he looked black in black and white pictures. He was smiling and I went to take a picture and by the time my camara took the picture he started to yell. I think it was the funniest picture and I intend to use it in the future for blackmail, so he better be nice to me. LOL.

Hands, Feet, and Cards

Jonah has the cutest feet. They are so big and I am sure in the future he will be growing out of his shoes very fast like his dad did (Joe wears a size 14, not fun to try and find him shoes). He also tucks them up under himself when he is sleeping. But I never knew that a baby's feet could smell. I take his socks off and sometimes they just stink, so weird.

He always has his hands in the cutest positions when he is sleeping. I swear I didn't put his hands like this, that is just how he had them. He also clasps them like he is praying or has them tucked up under his chin. It is so cute.


I got this card in the mail from my grandma with our wedding present and I thought it was so cute I just had to put it up here. Both her and my mom are so crafty, I wish I had inherited that from them. They both have so many talent's like painting and sewing and I can't even sew a button on correctly. And don't even ask about my 7th grade Home Ec project. :)

I love today. It is overcast and rainy today. Love it. I can't remember the last time it was like this.

Flagstaff

Jonah loves cuddling with his grandpa. I think he was out in a matter of seconds the other night and didn't wakeup when we put him in his car seat or when we took him out and put him in bed. I just think this picture is so cute, he looks so big though not like a two month old.

Here he is just saying whats up to his grandma.

On Tuesday we went up to Flagstaff so that Joe could apply for a job up there. This was my beautiful view the whole way up there.
Well Joe went in to apply at Sunstate up there and they interviewed him right there and had him fill out a bunch of paperwork and said they were going to run a background check on him which is a good sign. They don't usually do that unless they are really interested. It would be awesome if he got it because the pay is really good and he loves Flagstaff. So say a little prayer for us that it works out.
I gave Jonah a bath last night and he wasn't happy about it. He screamed bloody murder the whole time. Our neighbors probably thought that we were beating him. I even warmed up the bathroom before hand and everything He just doesn't like it at all, you would think that the water hurt him. Oh and please don't notice how bad my roots are in the picture.

Yummy!!!!

Okay so don't get mad at me but for the past couple weeks we have been giving Jonah a little bit of baby food every couple of days. He loves it and hasn't seemed to have any problems. We only give him half a jar every few days and he hasn't not liked any of the foods that we have given him. He also gets mad if we don't keep his mouth full, which is just like Joe was when he was a baby.

These pictures are for my cousin Jenn. She got him these cute Guess overalls and they are finally starting to fit him. They are six month and a little big but the are so cute. Thanks Jeffineffiner:)!!!

This was the cutest smile and I actually caught it on camara and my stupid finger blocked off part of the flash and mad the top part of the picture dark. I was so mad at myself. I took a bunch after this but could only catch the end of a couple smiles:

Sleepy

I got Jonah some really cute shirts at Dillards this weekend and I was trying to get a good picture of him in one of them but he didn't want to have anything to do with it. I think this is the only picture that came out without him screaming his head off. So I got this picture and turned around to say something to Joe and when I looked back not 5 seconds later and this is what I found:

He completely passed out. I picked him up to put him in his car seat expecting him to wake up and he never did. I guess he was just really tired and couldn't be bothered to have his picture taken.

And here is him sleeping on his daddy a little while later. So cute.

Speaking of sleep...

Last night he went to bed at 10 when we got home from our friends house and he slept all the way until 6 this morning. It was Awesome. Except from 2 on I got up every hour to check on him so I didn't really get any extra sleep. Hopefully he will keep this up.

7 Random Facts

Okay Kasey tagged me to do seven random facts about myself so here goes:

1. I am the oldest child of nine, but my family always like to tell me that I am the only child of nine. I was very spoiled when I was younger because I was the first grandchild on both side of the family and the oldest great grandchild. I also never really had to babysit the younger kids which suprises people, my sister Andrea got stuck with that.

2. I love cereal and ice cream and could eat both of them for breakfast, lunch and dinner if I could.

3. I am very shy. But most of the time I don't come off as being shy I come off as being stuck up. Alot of my friends have told me that they tought I didn't like them when we first met.

4. I love the rain and want to move somewhere that rains all the time or at least is overcast alot even if it will make my hair even more frizzy then it already is.

5. I have a brown thumb. Every plant I have ever had has commited planticide. When I first moved out my mom gave me some calla lilies in a pot that she had painted. I put the pot out on my balcony wall and when I came home from work a couple of days later the pot and plant were laying on the sidewalk under the balcony shattered all over. It looked like it just jumped off to avoid being killed by me.

6. I am a shopaholic and am no longer allowed to buy Coach purses, even if I use part of my Christmas bonus to buy them. :(

7. Sometimes I just don't think before I say things. A few months ago we had a really bad storm and our power went out for a few hours. Well Joe has this spot light that runs off of batteries or off electricity. I asked him if we could use it and he said no that the batteries were dead. I then asked him why we couldn't just plug it in and use it that we didn't need the batteries. It took me a few minutes to figure out why he was looking at me like I was a complete moron.

So anyway I hope you all were a little entertained by this. Sorry it took me so long to do it Kasey.

Smile

This weekend Jonah had a sleep over with his grandma and grandpa and his cousin Aiden. Aiden kept wanting to look at the baby. It was so cute.

Jonah went to chuch for the second time today so he had to get all dressed up for it. He looked so cute but he seemed to be very happy to get out of these clothes.

And here is the first smile I have been able to capture. The picture quality isn't very good because I had it on the wrong setting and he sort of looks like he is stoned, but it is still cute. My great grandma made him that beenie and I was trying to get a picture of him in it to send to her but it is a little small (he has a big head like his dad :).

My mom and I went and picked up the bridesmaids dresses yesterday and I was going to put up a picture but I think my sister would be mad if I posted that picture of her so maybe Valerie will try hers on and post a picture of it. We also picked out their shoes so we got a little bit done on the wedding stuff but not nearly enough. I am stressing a little bit.

Happy Halloween

On Monday night we went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate Ben's bday since we were out of town that day. The "kids" had alot of fun.
I think Joe won the majority of the tickets the kids had since he played skee ball for like 45 minutes until his arm couldn't throw anymore balls. The kids were happy about it though cause they got to take home more junk. I am sure my mom was very happy about that :).

Jake got these lovely teeth. Isn't he scary? I wouldn't want to run in to him in a dark alley.

Jonah liked checking out the scene. Don't laugh at his overalls. They are supposed to be pants but he has grown so fast that they almost look like shorts now but I didn't realize this until we had left the house. Oops. He had his two month check up on Tuesday and he now weighs 14 pounds 6oz and is 25 inches long. He is growing to fast. He also had to get his shots and he ended up having a fever that night.

For Halloween we took him to the Harvest Party at our church so that he could see his grandma and grandpa. He was such a cute pumpkin. (Thanks Val)

He also got to see his Aunt Andrea. Yea!!! Oh and Andrea...
