Four Months

Well Jonah is four months today. He is such a good baby, I really don't know what we did to get such a good kid but he is awesome. He is so much fun and this past month he has really been trying to communicate more. He trys to mock words that we say which is really cute. He is starting to play with his toys instead of just looking at them. He is also finally taking longer then 30 minute naps during the day which is great. Well he goes in for his four month check up and to get his shots on Jan 8th so I guess we will have to wait until then to see how much he has grown.

Happy Birtday Josh

Yesterday was my brother Josh's bday, he turned 15(he is the one on the far right). I can't believe he is getting so old. He is also the first of my siblings to pass me in height which is pretty bad since I am only 5 feet 6 1/2 inches. I just wanted to share a couple of storys about him:

When he was about 3 years old my sister Andrea was supposed to be watching him. I am not sure what she was doing but it definitly wasn't what she was supposed to be doing doing because I came home a friends house and he was standing on our tent trailer in the drive way butt naked. It was so funny. He was just up there jumping around with nothing on. He was such a funny kid.

He was also in love with Valerie and thought that she was his girlfriend.

He also lets my sisters and I beat the crap out of him and will never hit us back.

He is really quite but every once in a while he will bust out the funniest stuff just completey out of the blue.

Merry Christmas

Well we had a VERY busy Christmas Eve and Christmas day. On Christmas Eve when I got off work we headed up to Mesa for our annual Mexican Fiesta and then over to Joe's parents house for hot cocoa and the Christmas story. By then Jonah was very tired so we took him over to my grandmas and put him in bed and my mom and I started wrapping tons of presents and we of course were up until about two. Then Jonah had to wake up at 5:30 to eat. Luckily he went straight back to bed. He decided to pick this one day that we couldn't sleep in to sleep until 9:00am when we finally had to wake him up to go over to my parents house.

Here Jonah is at my parents enjoying his stocking stuffers. He got lots of good loot there and we had breakfast and the headed over to Joe's parents house.

He also got lots of good loot here and had fun cracking up at his grandpa.

Okay this is like the scariest picture. He looks like a little evil baby. It kinda creeps me out.

The at about 1:00 we got in the car to go to California for Christmas dinner at Joe's grandmas house. This is the only picture I have of Jonah in his Christmas outfit because on the car ride over there he puked all over it. But it was really cute while it lasted. I was a little worried about the trip over but he was the perfect baby the whole way there and back. I really didn't get that may pictures of Christmas day because I was holding Jonah most of the day and I gave Joe the camera and he proceeded to take three pictures and then handed the camera back to me.

After we had dinner and opening presents at Joe's grandmas we went over to Tyler and Marys new house to stay the night and hang out with them. We had a lot of fun with them and the two boys. It is crazy how close in size they are even though they are three months apart. But you can definitely tell their age difference in their mobility. Ashton has a lot more control of his body while Jonah is still has a hard time picking things up and holding on to things. And even though Ashton beat Jonah up he still had fun. :)

Huge

Jonah loves his grandpa Jim. We were over at Joe's parents house last Monday and Jonah was just sitting there having a full on conversation with his grandpa and laughing at him, it was the cutest thing ever.





Jonahs new favorite thing to do is to be propped up on pillows so that he can watch tv with his dad. He is up on like 4 pillows and is pretty much standing up. I don't really like that he is watching the tv but it is to cute to see him just hanging out with Joe when I get home from work.

He has almost out grown this swing. He is getting so big. We measured him today and it probably isn't exact but he was almost 27 inches and 17.8 pounds on our scale. The boy is huge.

Tricks

Well our computer crashed last week so I haven't really been able to post anything but here is Jonah's new trick that he started doing about a week and a half ago:

He wasn't doing this about two weeks ago because we tried to get him to stand next to Ashton so that we could see how close they were in size but he kept going limp in the legs so we gave up. But a couple days later he started doing it and he wants to stand all the time. He is also trying to sit up all the time. Its so funny to look over and see him in his car seat trying to sit up to look at me or out the window.

So I think that since we got married I must becoming a little domestic or something :) I actually cooked dinner twice this week (and no it wasn't macaroni and cheese or anything from a box) and I did some crafts, if you can call it that.

I made a couple of these picture frames with my scrapbook stuff. I think they came out pretty good for something that I did. Yea!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Lisa

Last Friday was my friend Lisas Bday(Shes the one in red, sorry this is the only picture I have of her). Sorry I didn't get this up sooner but our computer crashed last Friday. Hope you had a good day at Disneyland.

Nasty

This is for everybody out there who thinks their house is a mess (I am going to make you feel a lot better about your selves). I haven't posted anything about my work because I don't want it to come back and bite me in the butt in the future but the other day I had the "good" fortune to go walk an apartment after this lady moved out to see if we were going to have to charge her for any damages. Now let me just say that these are really nice apartments and only 3 years old. This was possible the worst I have ever seen, and she had four kids living in this nastiness. I don't think that the pictures really do it justice, you might have to click on them to see it better.





I know that CPS already had been called out on this lady at least three times so we totally sent them pictures of this.

Missing

So Joe has been working on a car up in Anthem all week and Jonah has been at his grandmas everyday until late. I miss them and thank goodness Joe should be done with it today, yea! I am sure that Sue has had enough grandma time these past two weeks to last quite awhile :) I can't wait for them to be home!!!!

Wedding

OK I am really torn about putting these pictures up here of me because I look so fat but it is my goal to lose weight before we go on our honeymoon in April so I am just going to do it. Our wedding went great we lucked out with no rain on Saturday, it was a little chilly but other then that it was great. My mom and Auntie Lynn did a fabulous job with all the decorations which I don't have any pictures on my camera of. I will hopefully get all the pictures on to a cd soon to put some more up here. My great grandpa and my brother Jake. I swear this kid sat right here for most of the night with my grandpa. It was so cute, he really loves him.

Joe was so stressed out all day and making mean jokes about being married but I think once the ceremony started he was less stressed out then me. I wasn't nervous about getting married but I was nervous about being up in front of all those people. I am not so good at being the center of attention so to have all those people even if it was family and friends staring at me I freaked out a little bit and it shows in some of the pictures from the ceremony. But there was no crazy dramas or anything which Joe was afraid of and we all had alot of fun. It's funny six years ago right after we started dating my mom told me that we were going to get merried. I am glad she was right but who knew it would have taken so long, lol.

Well I am not going to be able to post for a few days because I will be insanely busy so here are a few pictures to take that last post out of you mind:

Tardy

Okay so if you have a weak stomach, have just eaten or are just about to eat you can totally skip this (Don't say I didn't warn you). So for some reason I can never make it to work on time, I am always at least five minutes late. Well we are openning a new property in February and the new manager for it is starting with us next week so I decided that I need to start really trying to get there on time, so this morning I set my alarm for 15 minutes earlier then normal. Well let me just say that I needed it. I went in to Jonah's room and Joe was feeding him and kept saying that Jonahs breath smelled really bad. Well I picked him up and his back was all wet and I thought that he had peed threw his diaper. Um yeah that totally wasn't it. He had a major blow out:

Joe stuck his hand into the onsie that Jonah was wearing to try and get it off of him because it is really cute but he stuck his hand straight into the pile. He freaked out so we had to cut it off of Jonah. It smelled so bad (like a chicken coop, if you've ever smelled one of those) I almost puked.

Poor baby just sat there and laughed at us the whole time. I think he did it on purpose. The funny thing is that Joe said that he didn't smell anything when he got Jonah out of bed and usually when he poops he isn't very quiet about it. It was a huge mess and needless to say I was late for work today.

Random

So it has been a pretty slow weekend. I had to work and Joe fixed a couple peoples cars, but I just wanted to post some pictures because I know my grandma will be checking.

Jonah has been doing a lot better at laying on the floor or sitting in his swing or bounce chair. Before he would only sit or lay there for a minute and then cry to be picked up again. Thank goodness he is growing out of that a little. Don't get me wrong I love holding him and he still gets held a majority of the time but it is nice to be able to go load the dishwasher or do some laundry and be able to use both hands.

He doesn't look to happy here though :)
