FIVE HOURS

For those of you who don't know Jonah, this is an unusual site.
Him sleeping in his crib. Not only did he sleep in it, he slept in it for 5 hours in one night. It was amazing. To bad he hasn't really done it since then.

Part of that reason is because we went to Cali this weekend for his babyshower with Joes family. It was alot of fun and I am glad that they all got to meet him finally.

Jonah also got to meet his best friend Ashton who is three months older then him. Ashtons dad Tyler and Joe have been best friends for over 20 years (they are so old :) so it is pretty cool that Jonah and Ashton are so close in age.

We were so happy to finally get to meet Ashton (who is super cute) and to get to hang out with Tyler and Mary who we haven't seen in a while. Anyway here are some more cute pictures from this weekend:

Can anyone tell me why Jonah looks like he is half black whenever we take black and white pictures of him? It's so funny!

Joe, Jonah and Ashton checking each other out. It was so cute, right before this Jonah and Ashton were holding hands. Mary got a picture of it but I didn't have my camera out so hopefully she will send me the picture and I will put it up.

Jonah and Ashton just chilling out at Mimi's. Actually Jonah isn't chillin', he is about to start screaming. So it was a pretty fun weekend but we were so tired by the time we got home Sunday night.

Jonah in a crib and for so long is a miracle! Did you actually sleep while he was sleeping or were you too busy taking pictures of it?

No I slept for like two hours, but I was so tired that at some point I turned the baby moniter off so now I am afraid to let him sleep in his room. LOL

5 hours is only heaven to a new mom huh! When you tell someone who has never had kids that you slept for 5 hours straight they just don't understand. Wahoo for you! And hopefully those stretches get a little longer each week from here on out!
