Party Party Party

Saturday we had Jonah's first birthday party. It was a huge success thanks to Jim and Sue and Leanna and all their help. So here is a crap load of pictures from Saturday:

We had a pool party and set up a bunch of play pools in the front yard and had this inflatable water slide for the big kids. They loved it and I am surprised that none of them got killed on it with as wild as they were.

This was Jonah's favorite present that he got. He played with it all day which was awesome. Now we just have to figure out a way to get it home so it can occupy him here.

By the time we got to opening presents he was so tired and pretty much cried the entire time. But he really loved all his presents after he was rested up so thank you everybody.

Here is his cute cake that I made him. I found an adorable cake pan at Michael's that makes huge cup cakes. They feed about 8 people and I made four of them and at the end of the party there was only one slice left. I think they were a hit.

Jonah just kinda stared at the cake when we put it in front of him. I finally put a scoop of frosting in his mouth but he really wasn't into it.

He was tired by this time and I think a little freaked out that everyone was staring and crowded around him watching.

Still not digging it.

A few hours later we tried again. Lisa held the cake up to his mouth and he finally got the idea and started to dig in.

Loving it!!!

He was grabbing handfuls of cake and sharing it with people. Such a sweet baby.

One of our friends got Jonah this awesome binky. It is freakin hilarious to see him crawl around with this thing in his mouth.
