Sunday we had some time to kill before we had to meet everyone for dinner for Angela's birthday so we decided to get Jonah's hair cut finally. He has had a serious mullet going on for about six months but I hadn't had the heart to get it cut. Well I just decided to do it since we were near the Dana Park shopping center and they have a kid hair salon. Anyway here are some shots of his hair before:
Pretty shagging in the back and on top but nothing on the sides.

If you click on this picture to enlarge it you will get a better view of the shagginess on top.

He looked so cute sitting in the chair. This place was so cute, it had animals that kids could sit on and a car but we decided it was best to strap him in. Let me tell you this was a very wise decision on our part.

The lady was impressed that he didn't freak out when she put the cover on him. Little did she know what was in store for her.

This was after she buzzed the sides and back of his hair which he was okay with and he was also fine when she was cutting the top. He wiggled a little bit but she did a good job and his hair is pretty even.

This picture definitely shows how he felt about the whole experience.

All done and so cute! Like I said he did pretty good with the clippers and the top of his hair but once she started trimming around his ears and back of his hair he flipped out. It took me holding his arms (he tried to hit the lady) and Joe holding his head still and the lady working really fast to get it done. He was screaming and causing a huge scene, luckily no one else was in there at the time.

A close up of the finished product. He looks so adorable I just want to eat him up.

They give you this really cute certificate with a lock of their hair for the first hair cut. It took us forever to get a picture of him even semi smiling. At one point we moved him to this car that has a steering wheel and he loved it. We didn't get his picture in it though because he was to busy playing and checking himself out in the mirror to look at the camera. When we tried to take him out of the car he pitched the biggest tantrum which he really never does. He started screaming and kicking his legs and trying to smack Joe. All I can say is I am very happy that I didn't attempt to cut his hair on my own, It was definitely worth the money and I totally recommend LolliLocks on Val Vista and Baseline. They did a great job on him even with him being all over the place.

He is so handsome! That is way cute that they gave you a certificate too. He is getting way too big!
He looks so handsome with his new haircut! Tai still hates getting his haircut and he's 3! That's neat they gave you that plaque, much better than the sandwich bag my kids hair is in.
No, I didn't cry. I was to busy wrestling him to think about it.
This is definitely the cutest set of first haircut pictures ever! Great job! He is so sweet.
