OCD

Sometimes I think that Jonah is slightly OCD. He likes things to be a certain way and if you don't put things back in the right place he will move it. At his grandma and grandpa's house there is a kiddie table and chairs in the playroom, if the chairs are not pushed up to the table he will make sure they are. If we leave socks or any clothing in the family room he will take them and put them away in his laundry basket. When we change his clothes he will automatically put the dirty clothes in his laundry basket. He will pick up his shoes and put them away in his closet. He always lines his cars up in straight lines when he is done playing with them. Just tonight I found a line of cars on the kitchen counter and my bathroom counter. He will take any trash he sees lying around an throw it away. I guess he isn't OCD he just seems especially helpful for a kid who isn't even two yet. It doesn't seem normal to me that a kid his age does this stuff. He likes to help me load the washer and dryer, and he even helps to put away the silverware in the dishwasher. I am very glad to have a kid that likes to help me get stuff done around the house. It cracks me up though to watch him help me clean.

The other night he wanted me to put my shoes on him and he walked around the house for an hour with them on. When he had them on it just made me think that some day his feet are going to be even bigger then that.

That is cute! Awesome that he likes to clean. Isn't that why people have kids anyway? lol
