Keys and Other Randomness

The other day Joe was on the computer and he heard Jonah grab his keys off of our entry table so he goes out to see what Jonah is doing and see's Jonah trying to use the keys to get the front door open. He kept swing the keys and hitting the lock to try and get it open. It is just crazy that he put those two things together and realized that we use the keys to get the door open. He has also figured out how to turn his bath water on and off, how to turn the shower on from there and also how to turn the dishwasher on. It is crazy how fast he learns things. He just watches us and then goes back later to try it himself.

I took Jonah to his grandma and grandpa's the other day and I had given my sister in law Jonah's old swing for her baby. Well Jonah loves to swing it whether it is empty or has Caleb in it, so I decided to put him in it and he looked so huge. He kept grabbing on to the back legs and swinging himself in it. So just to show you how much he has grown in the past year here is a picture of him at about two weeks old in the same swing:

He was still a pretty big baby at two weeks but now we like to call him the giant baby. He still has the face of a baby but the body of a two year old.

This is my usual view when I am on the computer lately, he is right next to me and trying to grab the mouse out of my hand and push buttons on the key board.

And I just love this picture, he looks so sweet and innocent here. You would never expect that right after this he knocked almost everything off the table.
