Jonah has been a little pill this past week. I was almost ready to sell him on the black market. He has been so whiny, keeps throwing little tantrums, throwing toys, throwing stuff in the diaper champ (he figured out how to turn it so he can drop stuff in to the pail). I also think he is trying to give up his naps because he will only stay down for about half an hour, once a day. By 5:00 pm he is a bear and will throw himself on the floor in a second if he doesn't get his way.
Luckily he has had his good moments to which make the bad times fade away. Like lately when I pick him up or finish changing his diaper he will give me a hug and nuzzle his "little" head into my neck and say mama. Or some nights after 7:00 pm if I am sitting on the couch watching TV he will climb up on to the couch and lay on me and snuggle for a few minutes before he goes back to playing. Or like on Sunday night when were we at the hospital visiting Angela, we took him to the cafeteria to eat dinner and he grabbed the fork out of my hand and started feeding himself my salad (so cute). Or the other night we took him to the play ground and his face looked like he was in ecstasy when he was on the swing and he was laughing so hard it was totally contagious and Joe and I couldn't stop laughing either. Or how he never cries in the mornings when he wakes up, he just talks into the baby monitor until we come and get him and he is always smiling when we come in his room. Or how cute he looks at night all snuggled in his bed and cuddling Mr. Bear. So I guess I just need to remember these things next time I am tempted to list him on eBay. I am so blessed to have such an adorable little boy who has such a big and loving heart.
The other night Joe had a bottle of Dr. Pepper and Jonah was insistent on getting a taste of it so Joe gave him a little sip (normally he isn't allowed any soda at all) and he kept letting it sit in his mouth like the picture above until it stopped fizzing and then he would swallow it.
Yummy. He loved it and was pretty upset when Joe wouldn't let him have anymore and ended up throwing one of the above mention tantrums. (And no Sue this doesn't mean he is allowed soda now, lol)

If you ever want to sell him, don't do it on ebay. Just let me know and I'll take him off your hands. LOL
Don't sell your baby on ebay... He is too cute. What he needs is a vacation in Hawaii with his favorite Jennifer. LOL I miss you guys and actually all of you should come to Hawaii
