Move

Well we finally moved last weekend. We were so cramped in our last place so we decided that we just needed to get it over with. So here are a few pictures of our new apartment. So far we are loving it, but I'm still waiting for it to feel like home. Maybe once we get all the decorations up it will be better. The picture above is our living room, its a little smaller but the extra bedroom more then makes up for it. None of Joe's work stuff is allowed in this area ; )

This is our entry area and down the hallway. The kitchen is off to the right and then all the bedrooms are down there. This gives Jonah room to play with his car and his buggy and he just likes to run up and down the hallway.

The dining area! These pictures were taken the day we moved in , I have hung some pictures since then but I haven't taken anymore pictures.

The best part is Jonah has his own room. He doesn't have to share with the office anymore. It is great, he loves it and I love it because he is napping and going to bed so much easier now. Before it would take him about an hour to go to bed at night and he would scream if we left the room. Since the computer was in there it was just easy for us to stay in there with him while he was going to bed. Unfortunately he would get distracted with us in there and not go to bed. Tonight he was asleep five minutes after I put him to bed. It is so nice, I feel like I have my nights back. It has been so much easier for me to keep things clean with the extra time. I have even done like four loads of laundry that has all been put away. Which if you had seen what my laundry room looked like before you would know is a miracle.

I still need to get stuff to decorate his walls but I love the paint color. It looks alot better in person, the blue is a little more bright then it looks. He loves playing in his new room, especially with the closet doors. I even caught him putting his toys away tonight.

We are getting him a kitchen for this corner of his room, he loves playing with the one at his grandmas house, and I love things that keep him occupied for longer then 5 minutes.

Sitting in his "time out" chair, lol!!! Actually it is just this little stool I got him at Michael's that he like to sit on.
The other day I was fixing his lunch and I put him on the counter because he wanted to watch. Well he got up and walked over to the window and was just watching all the cars drive in and out. Cheap entertainment, now whenever I am in the kitchen he wants to get up there to look out.

I was a little worried how Jonah would react to us moving but it hasn't really seemed to affected him at all. He loves having more room to play and he has seemed to have adjusted pretty well. Also we finally got his appointment for his tubes, he is getting them done at Chandler Reg Hospital on April 21st. I can't wait for it to just be done. Now we won't getting into to how pissed off we are that the doctors office didn't make the appointment until March 10th which was a whole freakin month after he had his appointment telling us that they were going to put the tubes in. I think I also forgot to mention on here that at his 18 month check up he was 36 inches and 33 pounds 4 oz, and as of last weekend he has three teeth on the top and two on the bottom. PS, I love his teeth, I think they are so cute. Is that weird?

I love it! It is so pretty! I like Jonah's room too, and the color. Sounds like he is having tons of fun having his own space.
